When you’re a rap superstar, a collection of some of the world’s finest rides is practically a given. World renowned rapper Lil Uzi Vert knows this all too well and has invested more than 2 million into a highly customized fleet of extoic cars. His collection is what dreams are made of, flossing a Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Audi, a couple of Bentleys and more – all matched to his personal preference of army green. He actually showcased his entire collection with us at the 2019 Philadelphia International Auto Show to adoring eyes and fans.Michael Layton of Car Effex is responsible for a few of his lavish rides. He met the rapper from another customer of his, Eagles defensive end Vinny Curry, and the result is a collaboration that spans several vehicles. “He first came to me wanting his Bentley truck wrapped and from there he took off with ideas,” Michael admits. “He’s also added multiple cars to his collection since then and I’ve done about eight counting for him.”

According to Michael, every week something new is being done or changed to each of his vehicles, whether it’s a new wrap scheme, new wheels and tires or adding more horsepower. “We are constantly working on Uzi’s fleet,” he details. “He definitely has the most unique rides around. But his craziest request was to strip down everything to the bare bones on his Bentley Continental and then build it by hand again in-house to his specific vision. It took a lot of brainstorming, hard work and long hours to complete the project.”The addiction to the hottest rides on the planet is real and Lil Uzi Vert doesn’t seem to want to curb his appetite for more given he just purchased a red and white $1.7-million Bugatti (formally owned by Floyd Mayweather Jr.) to celebrate his 25th birthday back in July. He took to his IG account to show off the new purchase, along with some of his other rides, including the Lamborghini Urus, Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Audi R8. In the IG video, he clearly admits that “These are my kids. If I’m iced-out, you think my car is not iced-out?”The rapper signed a new management contract with Roc Nation and he’s ready to get back to doing what he does best – making music – despite hinting at retiring from the rap game entirely. It’s been two years since his debut album dropped and fans have been anticipating a new joint (his sophom*ore album was supposed to be called Eternal Atake), which might happen now thanks to Roc Nation. Things are looking up for the rapper and the Buggatti was only a glimpse of what’s to come from Lil Uzi Vert in the coming year.
